Not at all. These classes welcome complete beginners alongside experienced practitioners. I cue modifications throughout every class so you can honour exactly where your body is today. If you've never stepped on a mat, this is your perfect starting point.
Comfortable, stretchy clothing you can move in. A yoga mat if you have one — mats are also available to borrow. Water is always welcome. Leave your shoes at the door and arrive ready to settle in.
Yes, completely. I hold classes in a warm, intimate studio space in Port Dalhousie, St. Catharines. The full address is shared personally when you register — this keeps the space intentional and community-centred. Many students say the private setting is one of the things they love most.
You will never be pushed beyond what your body can hold. I always offer alternative poses, slower options, and hands-on guidance. If you have a specific injury or condition, just let me know before class and I'll make sure you're fully supported.
As a Reiki Master Teacher with 20+ years of experience, I channel healing energy throughout the class — during breathwork, transitions, and especially Savasana. You don't have to believe in energy healing to feel the difference. Students consistently describe leaving with a calm and restoration that regular yoga classes haven't matched.

For over 20 years, I’ve been guiding people through healing, energy work, and spiritual practices — and I bring that depth and care into every yoga class I teach.

My classes are intentionally designed to be supportive, grounding, and accessible, meeting you exactly where you are while gently encouraging growth, strength, and ease.

Every class is infused with mindful breathwork, soulful Hatha flow, Reiki energy, affirmations, and guided meditation, so you receive more than postures — you receive a full mind-body-spirit experience.

My Beginning

I began practicing yoga just a couple of years ago with a simple goal.

To keep my body healthy as I age, inspired by my mother’s journey with chronic sciatica pain.

At first, it was simply movement and stretching. But soon… it became so much more.

Yoga became the missing piece in my holistic life, a sacred bridge between the physical and the deeply spiritual. It wove itself seamlessly into the energy work, Reiki, hypnosis, and healing I’ve been offering for over 20 years.

Yoga became my anchor, helping me release what was heavy, breathe deeper, open my heart, and move through life with more grace and vitality.

Along the way, I released 80 pounds, not from chasing a number on the scale, but from truly listening to and honoring my body’s wisdom.

A Glimpse Into My 3-Year Journey Toward Optimal Health

This is the only place on my website where I’m sharing this level of vulnerability.

Over the past three years, I’ve been on a deeply transformative journey toward optimal health, and the best part? I’m still growing stronger, healthier, and more grounded every day.

I’ll be honest… I went back and forth about including before-and-after photos. But yoga has been such a pivotal part of my healing, physically, emotionally, and spiritually, that it felt important to honour the whole journey.

For me, this has never been about a number on the scale or an image in the mirror. It’s been about growth, self-trust, and deepening into who I truly am. Yoga has reconnected me with my body in the most profound way, giving me strength, peace, and clarity I didn’t know were possible.

I share my story, and my before photos here not as a comparison, but as a celebration of what’s possible when you commit to caring for yourself from the inside out.
